I pass the botanic garden every day when I come home from work and I always have the urge to stop by and visit this magical place. But somehow I never do it!
Thus, last weekend, I decided to finally go there for a walk. But what should you wear when going to a botanic garden? The Safari look would have been the most evident look. But what if you get invited to a wonderful, classy restaurant afterwards? That’s why I chose to wear the light, comfortable and still dressy outfit above. The colors go into the direction of a safari look.
The bag is a Hermès Market bag. It’s one of my favorite bags and not a real beauty such as the Birkin. I wore this bag for many years and because of the daily usage the bag looked quite awful. Thus, I had to re-dye it. (It was beige before.) Speaking of Hermès bag restoration.. Did you see my post about the Kelly bag makeover? (See it here: makeover ) The result is just fantastic.
The Moschino dress was a gift from my sister in law. The loafers are from Stuart Weitzman. They where pretty cheap as far as I remember..but not everything has to be expensive ;-)
Do you guys have a botanic garden in your town? I’d love to hear you thoughts on this outfit!
Hope you enjoy the pictures….

Yours sincerely,

Dress: Moschino Love

Loafers: Stuart Weitzman

Bag: Hermès Paris Market Bag

Watch: Hermès Paris Medor

Kelly

Kelly M. is a long-haired “bon vivant”. Her mother named her after the famous Kelly bag from Hermès. Kelly likes to spend her sunny days in her garden near the pool. She certainly enjoys the bright side of life, most of all eating and all other activities that are beneficial for her body and soul. As Oscar Wilde said: “Looking good and dressing well is a necessity, having a purpose in life is not.”

Yes we have a botanic garden in the city, that’s near where the opera house is. It is very lovely but we don’t normally go there in winter and its winter here now in Australia :0 Love your outfit, I agree that you dont want to be overdressed during the day and underdressed for dinner. This is a bit hard but you did it well… *applaud applaud* :)
